March 2017 MOM BABY GOD at Forum Theatre / Three Sisters and No Sisters at Studio Theatre

March was definitely the most insane month and I'm so very very grateful to all the collaborators who shared their energy and genius and helped pull it off! I was so fortunate to be able to workshop a new version of MOM BABY GOD under the sharp direction of Kathleen Akerley and assistant director Amelia Powell, and to perform for a full house of so many friends and collaborators on the stage of the #NastyWomenRep (Dry Land and What Every Girl Should Know-- two stunning productions that I was so so glad to see) at Forum Theatre. We also received this really wonderful write-up in the Baltimore City Paper, which captured so much of what the play means to me in 2017. I'm very excited to continue developing this piece in 2017-2018, with an eye towards more performances in the near future.

While re-writing and rehearsing MOM BABY GOD, I've also been very fortunate to understudy Studio Theatre's crazy amazing rep productions of Checkhov's Three Sisters, directed by Jackson Gay, and No Sisters, a world premiere written and directed by Aaron Posner and performed simultaneous to Three Sisters (sharing half the cast).

During tech for MOM BABY GOD at Forum, I learned that I would most likely be going on later that night for Three Sisters, for their first performance after opening (before understudy rehearsals had begun). I ended up performing that week in three performances of Three Sisters and one performance of Three Sisters and No Sisters at the same time.

It was quite honestly the most **insane**, exhilarating thing I have ever done onstage and I'm endlessly grateful to this incredibly gracious cast and the wonderful team at Studio for coming together to help in every possible way to pull it off.
